ECCE Business Academy Budgeting Tool

In response to many requests for business supports from Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) site leaders and Ready Regions, VECF convened the Early Educator Finance and Compensation Task Force, a group of veteran ECCE site leaders, to help develop this training in collaboration with financial planning and resiliency experts, 20 Degrees. This means that the tool was designed and tested by ECCE providers for ECCE providers.

Purpose
Whether you're looking to increase teacher pay or strengthen your financial strategy for the coming year, the Business Academy Budgeting Tool will support improving your organization's financial health and sustainability and contribute to a resilient future for ECCE providers. 

Versions
The Business Academy Budgeting Tool has been specifically designed for three provider types: family day homes, for-profit centers, and nonprofit centers. To access the appropriate tool, please click on the links below. Each link directs you to a folder that contains the following materials in both English and Spanish:

• Supporting Materials: We strongly encourage you to review the training and tutorial videos before using the tools.

  • Slides from the Zoom training
  • Comprehensive video tutorial 

• Tools in both English and Spanish:
  • Excel Version (both Blank and Example versions)
    • For optimal use, please download the .xlsx file directly without converting it into a Google Sheet.
