As an early childhood systems builder, convening diverse stakeholders is central to your work. However, the skills it takes to facilitate inclusive conversations aren’t always intuitive. Do you find yourself unsure about how to design and lead meaningful gatherings where all voices are heard? Perhaps you’ve led meetings where the conversation has meandered far from your intended goals? Don’t worry, we’ve all been there.
Whether it’s a regularly scheduled meeting or a one-off event, effective facilitation is imperative to ensuring mobilization of community members, collaborative decision-making, and equitable progress toward the systems change we seek. Join this workshop, facilitated by the co-founders of Meraki Consulting, to learn key competencies and skills for effective facilitation.
- Participants will be able to identify the 5 competencies of effective facilitation
- Participants will be able practice facilitation strategies to enable diverse stakeholders to build trust, share ownership, and establish mutual accountability
- Participants will assess their facilitation skills, identifying areas of growth and action steps for development
This workshop is being hosted on July 9th and July 29th. Please select one option during registration.
